OutSolve and DirectEmployers Present: Applicant and Employee Self-Identification

OutSolve is teaming up with DirectEmployers for a webinar titled "Everything You Want To Know About Applicant and Employee Self-Identification" on Thursday, June 20 at 2pm ET. This presentation will feature a practical discussion on how to effectively persuade applicants and employees to self-identify their race, sex, national origin, disability, and Protected Veterans' statuses, efficacy of the use of “visual identification” vs. “self-identification,” where and how to store employee identification data, and what protected groups federal contractors should encourage to report. Becky Crowder, Sr. Consultant, will represent OutSolve, highlighting our partnership’s ability to offer comprehensive compliance strategies and thoughtful solutions to complex challenges.
This June 20 masterclass presentation will be led by Candee Chambers, Executive Director of DirectEmployers. She will be joined by Dave Pacheo, DirectEmployers member, and EEO/Affirmative Action Officer at the University of Colorado Boulder, who will share his experience on visual ID, best practices, and its role within the university setting. John C. Fox, Esq, Partner, Fox, Wang & Morgan P.C. will also join the panel to frame legal requirements limiting federal contractor discretion as to self-identification issues.

During this masterclass, the panelists will share their perspectives and address the following issues:

• Is visual ID acceptable?

• When must federal contractors seek identification?

• How often should employees be asked to voluntarily report disabilities?

• What information must federal contractors collect?

• What information may federal contractors report?

Mark your calendars for June 20, 2024, at 2pm ET and join us for an engaging discussion. Register now to secure your spot and be part of this informative webinar!
