OFCCP Actions Associated with the Rescinding of E.O. 13950

Complaints will no longer be taken by OFCCP and all open complaints will be administratively closed

On January 20, 2021 President Biden issued E.O. 13958, “Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities Through the Federal Government.” As we reported on last week, E.O. 13958 revoked E.O. 13950 “Combating Race and Sex Stereotyping” that was issued by the Trump Administration.

To support the repealing of E.O. 13950, OFCCP is taking the following actions:

  • Rescinding the FAQs.
  • Shutting down the phone hotline and email address.
  • Administratively closing all complaints regarding non-compliance.
  • Stopping the enforcement of the provisions of Section 4(a) contained in government contractors or subcontracts.

OFCCP will no longer be taking any additional complaints associated with E.O. 13950. The agency has published a webpage detailing the revocation of E.O. 13950.
