OFCCP Schedules Religious Exemption Rule Rescission Briefing

OFCCP briefing scheduled for March 31, 2023, when the rescission becomes effective
As addressed in OutSolve’s blog on March 10, 2023, titled “OFCCP Rescinds Religious Exemption Rule,” the OFCCP has rescinded the rule “Implementing Legal Requirements Regarding the Equal Opportunity Clause’s Religious Exemption . The rescission of the 2020 rule implemented by the Trump administration will take effect on March 31, 2023.
The briefing will be open to all via Webex on March 31, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. EDT. The OFCCP will discuss the rescission of the rule and the availability of the religious exemption for federal contractors that are religious corporations, associations, educational institutions, or societies. Inquiries or assistance needed can be obtained through the OFCCP online portal or by calling 1.800.397.6251 Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EDT, except during federal holidays.

In 2016, Debra sold the affirmative action portion of Workplace Dynamics to OutSolve LLC and works part-time as a Market Analyst. Debra is a sports fanatic, routing for the Baltimore Ravens and all Virginia Tech Hokie teams. She loves to hike and boat in her mountain and lake community of Lake Lure, NC.
