Webinar for construction companies and contractors working on or seeking government contracts
On Tuesday, June 29th, from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. EDT, the DOL is hosting a webinar for construction companies and contractors in the Southeast that either hold federal contracts or have an interest in obtaining one. Representatives from the Wage and Hour Division (WHD) and the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) will discuss basic requirements and compliance issues related to the David Bacon and Related Act, Vietnam Era Veterans’ Readjustment Assistance Act, and other EEO concerns.
Attendance is free, but registration is required. The southeast region covers Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.
