Certainty Directive helps contractors understand what OFCCP expects of them
OFCCP Issued Directive 2021-02, Certainty in OFCCP Policies and Practices, to reaffirm the agency’s commitment to a number of certainty initiatives and principles, and to establish a process to provide clarity and certainty in their policies and practices. The new Directive will help contractors know what OFCCP expects of them to assist in their compliance efforts.
In 2018, OFCCP adopted the “CERT” principles which include four principles of Certainty, Efficiency, Recognition, and Transparency to improve compliance assistance and customer experience.
With the issuance of the Certainty Directive, OFCCP has published directives in all four areas of the agency’s CERT principles. See the directives:
- Directive 2021 – 02 Certainty Directive
- Directive 2020 – 02 Efficiency Directive
- Directive 2018 – 06 Recognition Directive
- Directive 2018 – 08 Transparency Directive
