Settlement to pay females $650,000 to remedy alleged compensation discrimination
Following a routine compliance evaluation, OFCCP found that on November 1, 2012, DXC paid female employees less than comparable male employees with positions in finance, including opportunity consultants, pre-sale consultants and service segment management.
DXC Technology, formerly known as Hewlett-Packard Company, will pay $650,000 in back pay and interest to resolve the allegations of compensation discrimination impacting female employees. Annually, the company will conduct a self-analysis of pay and revise its “compensation policies and procedures to establish monitoring and oversight mechanisms to ensure that all aspects of its compensation systems provide equal opportunity to all of its employees as required by law.” The settlement has been listed on OFCCP’s Class Member Locator to obtain class members.
