DOL is hosting a national online dialogue, Opening America’s Workplaces Again, to address how to help employers and workers safely open workplaces and the challenges that may face.
The dialogue is open to the public and will take place from April 30 through May 7, 2020. Participants will be able to share their ideas on the following topics:
- Reopening businesses,
- Commuting safely,
- Working safely,
- Accommodating members of vulnerable populations,
- Supporting America’s families, and
- Reducing regulatory burdens.
The dialogue is being hosted by the DOL’s Office of Compliance Initiatives in partnership with OSHA, Wage and Hour Division, OFCCP, Employee Benefits Security Administration, Employment and Training Administration, Office of Disability Employment Policy, VETS, and Women’s Bureau.
The dialogue will also include a one-hour Twitter chat scheduled for Friday, May 1, 2020 at 2:00 ET.
