TAG assists contractors with self-assessment tools to assist in meeting their compliance obligations
OFCCP Director Craig Leen has met one of his priorities by updating and publishing the Supply and Service Technical Assistance Guide (TAG). The TAG is helpful to new contractors needing to get into compliance for the first time and for veteran contractors wanting to know how OFCCP handles various compliance issues.
According to the OFCCP, the following are some of the highlights of the new TAG:
- Revisions to reflect regulatory changes to Executive Order 11246, Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act, and the Vietnam Era Veterans’ Readjustment Assistance Act,
- Outlines the equal employment opportunity obligations for federal contractors,
- Lists the required components of affirmative action programs and related information, and
- Discusses what to expect during OFCCP compliance evaluations.
Other TAGs include:
- TAG for Construction Contractors (see OutSolve blog)
- TAG for Educational Institutions (see OutSolve blog)
