Anupa Iyer Geevarghese: A Leader in Disability Advocacy Joins OFCCP

On September 3, 2024, the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) brought in Anupa Iyer Geevarghese as its new Deputy Director. Her academic background includes a Juris Doctor from Seattle University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from UCLA. Starting her career as a union organizer, Geevarghese soon pivoted to disability advocacy, holding key roles in organizations like Disability Rights Washington and the Mental Disability Advocacy Center.

Debra is a sports fanatic, routing for the Baltimore Ravens and all Virginia Tech Hokie teams. She loves to hike and boat in her mountain and lake community of Lake Lure, NC.
