Leen encourages all contractors to consider FAAPs as a way of addressing systemic discrimination
OFCCP Director Craig Leen said during a webinar in early July, that he wants all government contractors to look at the functional affirmative action program (FAAP). Currently, the agency has 73 government contractors in the FAAP program. According to Leen, “over the past year we moved all the FAAPS to five years agreements. “ OFCCP also issued a new FAP directive. Leen believes that having an FAAP is a “way to address systemic discrimination.”
