OFCCP briefing scheduled for March 31, 2023, when the rescission becomes effective
As addressed in OutSolve’s blog on March 10, 2023, titled “OFCCP Rescinds Religious Exemption Rule,” the OFCCP has rescinded the rule “Implementing Legal Requirements Regarding the Equal Opportunity Clause’s Religious Exemption . The rescission of the 2020 rule implemented by the Trump administration will take effect on March 31, 2023.
The briefing will be open to all via Webex on March 31, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. EDT. The OFCCP will discuss the rescission of the rule and the availability of the religious exemption for federal contractors that are religious corporations, associations, educational institutions, or societies.
